Local legislative wheels are in motion to crack down on bike theft in San Francisco. Supervisor Eric Mar called a special hearing at City Hall today with the Neighborhood Services & Safety Committee to discuss this ongoing problem in the city.

The slow march towards completing my first R-12 continued this weekend. San Francisco Randonneurs hosted a double-brevet weekend where riders rode from SF to Cloverdale (and chose from a 200 or 300k option.)
as I’m always eager to check out a new route, I scanned the Grizzly Peak Cyclists’ extensive archive of cue sheets and picked out a themed ride (I’m a sucked for these): the Tour of Five Canyons.
