Today was the inaugural “Meet Your Maker” ride for 2014 that started off at Paragon Machine Works in Richmond and ended at Drake’s Brewing Company in San Leandro. It was a huge turnout and over 150 folks came out for the event!
It’s another year, and I have another set of goals to aim for as I hope to ride Paris-Brest-Paris in 2015! TBO & I headed up to Hill 88 today — one of the most scenic spots in Marin — for the annual tradition of gathering with our cycling peeps on the first day of the year!
As TBO & I missed the Del Puerto 200k organized by the San Francisco Randonneurs earlier this month due to the plague, we decided to ride it on our own so I could continue my quest for my first R-12.
Esteemed framebuilder Bruce Gordon threw a party for his new bicycle shop and museum — which displays over 30 of his classic bikes from a span of over 20 years — at his shop in Petaluma this past Saturday.
