2013 UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Louisville
The Bearded One and I made our way to Louisville, Kentucky this weekend for a (potentially) once-in-a-lifetime event: the annual UCI Cyclocross World Championships were being held in the U.S. for the first time in its storied 64-year history.
So this happened on my ride tonight.
The Bearded One and I went for an evening fixed gear ride tonight on the Bay Trail in the hopes of rounding up my overall mileage for January to 700. Just as we were approaching the point to turn around so we could find a place to have a late dinner, I suddenly heard a loud, "CRACK!"

Journey to Point Molate
There's a section of the I-580, just before you cross the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, where cyclists can ride along the shoulder of the highway. I've always wondered why anyone would brave this busy little stretch of road, so I did a little research and found out that you can pedal to Pt. Molate.
Arizona
The Bearded One and I took a fun week-long holiday mountain bike trip just outside of Phoenix, Arizona.
Cracking Down On Cycling Crime: The San Francisco Police Department’s Bicycle Theft Prevention Workshop

Race Report: Surf City – Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds
If I had told myself 6 years ago, "Hey Jenny Oh Hatfield*, in the future, you will be racing bicycles," I would have laughed.
Race Report: Sierra Point
I came, I raced and I played cat-and-mouse on the course with Jenn, Vanessa (my Jortz nemesis) and Laura. In the end I came in 18th overall.
