TBO & I headed back to Maui for a week to celebrate my 40th birthday! We stayed in Kihei once again and explored the west side of the island at the Nakalene Blowhole, Ohai Trail and the Olivine Pools; bodysurfed at Slaughter House Beach; petted a ton of cute baby goats at a farm; rode a crazy 202k and rode up Haleakala on my actual birthday. And we didn’t neglect our appetites and ate loads of delicious food at Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop, Star Noodle, Maui Brewing Company, Paia Fish Market and Hali’imaile General Store. I think Kauai’s next on our bucket list.
