After volunteering all day at the Quackcyclists’ annual Knoxville Double Century ride, Ann invited Pudu, TBO and myself to join her Sunday King Ridge ride. As newbies to this route, the three of us were excited to finally check out this uncharted terrain as we’d heard a lot about this breathtaking 55-mile loop.
2014 Knoxville Double Century
While I don’t think I’ll be able to get a CA Triple Crown this year unless I hustle to some region outside of the Bay Area in the next few months, I was able to squeeze in the Quackcyclists’ Knoxville Fall Classic Double Century staff ride yesterday.
Randonneur Ride Report: Muir Woods-Alpine 107k
Denise, TBO and I rolled out from Cole Valley to brave the hectic weekend crowds of Marin to ride Jesse’s beautiful route that spans Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, Bolinas-Fairfax Road and Alpine Dam.

Randonneur Ride Report: Mountains to Megalopolis
This 308km ride starts at the Kirkwood Ski Resort near Lake Tahoe and ends at the North Concord / Martinez BART station; it’s worth it for the beautiful views along the Mormon Emigrant Trail.
